Vedanta to Make $50billion Revenue: Agarwal

The founder and Chairman of Vedanta Resources Limited, Anil Agarwal portray himself as an “architect” for a strategy to navigate the Vedanta group into a management run-energy and metals global major that can endure and prosper in the next 500 years.

The Vedanta Resources Chairman said, “The company will evolve and can make $50 billion revenue,”.

According to him, India is a country abundant with natural resources, this country is a lovable place with a thriving start-up culture, and capital availability. And also the government is driving in the right direction but it needs to drive only faster. Agarwal said that it is high time for India to emphasize energy security and unfurls the space to the private sector to stimulate production. He also suggests the corporatization of public sector entities and tales about the disinvestment plans for BPCL.

It was a free-wheeling candid interview with Moneycontrol’s Rachita Prasad, where Agarwal talked about his journey so far, how Vedanta Group fought its many obstacles and his personal and professional future strategies.
