Bitcoin, Ether, and Dogecoin are the most commonly invested Cryptocurrencies that have greatest shares of consumers currently own, have ever owned and are aware of.
A survey was done on around 2,334 U.S consumers by the collaboration of PYMNTS and Bit Pay where the U.S Crypto Consumer said that these three are the most common cryptocurrencies that the consumers currently own.
Amongst them, Bitcoin has the highest share, it’s currently held by 12% of consumers and Ether stood at the second-highest point at 7% followed by Dogecoin at 6%.
Within the rest of the top 10 cryptocurrencies, only the Bitcoin cash has owned by at least 10% of the consumers. The ownership of these three cryptos equates to consumers’ awareness of them. The three has not only to have the greatest share of consumers currently own but also the ones the greatest share of consumers know, even if they never held the coin.
92% of the consumers know bitcoin whereas 42% know about Ether and 50% know about the Dogecoin.
Right now, only 3% of the consumers own bitcoin cash. While about 10% of the consumers have ever owned it, 41% of the consumers know the coin.
